NC elected with clear majority in Biratnagar's Executive Council

BIRATNAGAR, July 18: The Nepali Congress has emerged a clear winner in the 29 – member Executive Council of the Biratnagar Metropolitan City.

BIRATNAGAR, July 18: The Nepali Congress has emerged a clear winner in the 29 – member Executive Council of the Biratnagar Metropolitan City. 



Congress' 18 candidates were elected in the council followed by Federal Socialist Forum's six candidates. CPN (UML) has won three seats while CPN (Maoist Centre) secured two seats in the council. 



Congress and the Maoist Centre had forged electoral alliance for members of the executive council. RSS
