KATHMANDU, Nov 29: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has brought into the ‘Hello Home Ministry Grievance Hearing Unit’ to make the resolution of grievances related to services provided by the ministry and its subordinate bodies more effective.
The MoHA in a statement on Thursday said that it is committed to maintaining peace and order in the country, controlling crime and ensuring the effective implementation of laws to establish good governance. It also mentioned that it has been addressing citizens' grievances, queries, and suggestions related to the ministry through various channels.

"A grievance handling unit has been established and brought into operation to make the resolution of complaints related to services provided by the ministry and its subordinate bodies more effective," said Home Ministry Spokesperson Rishiram Tiwari.
He added, "Service recipients can lodge complaints regarding services provided by subordinate bodies directly with the head of the respective body or departmental chief."
He stated that grievances related to services provided by the ministry and its subordinate bodies can be submitted through various means and processes via the grievance unit. Arrangements have been made to address and resolve the complaints on a priority basis through the respective body’s head, departmental chief, and chief district officer.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak had emphasized the establishment of the grievance unit to further streamline the services provided by the ministry and its subordinate bodies.
