Litterateur Sharma dies at 64

DANG, Dec 1: Litterateur and social worker Nityananda Sharma died at his residence in Dang on Wednesday. He was 64. Sharma was suffering from cancer.

DANG, Dec 1: Litterateur and social worker Nityananda Sharma died at his residence in Dang on Wednesday. He was 64. Sharma was suffering from cancer. 


He has published over a dozen books of various genres and is a composer of 'Jun Mama...Jun Mama....' a song for the children played in the children's programme aired by Radio Nepal.

Sharma has also been honoured many times by various organisations at national and local level for his contribution to the society through literature and social works. 


A permanent resident of Ghorahi-5 in Dang, Sharma is survived by a wife, six daughters and a son. RSS
