U-19 Women's World Cup Cricket: Nepal sets 74-run target against Scotland

After winning the toss at the UKM Oval cricket ground in Malaysia, Nepal batted first and scored 73 runs losing all wickets in 18.5 overs.

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Nepal set a target of 74 runs to Scotland in the second match of the ICC U-19 Women's T-20 World Cup held in Malaysia today. 


After winning the toss at the UKM Oval cricket ground in Malaysia, Nepal batted first and scored 73 runs losing all wickets in 18.5 overs.

Captain Pooja Mahato scored the highest 27 runs for Nepal. She hit three fours in 43 balls. Similarly, Sabitri Dhami scored 10 runs. 


Other batsmen from Nepali side could not make it to the double figures. On the bowling side, Maisie McIrra alone took five wickets for Scotland. Similarly, Ami Baldai and Naima Sheikh took two wickets each and Christie Mayakol took one wicket. 


Scotland is currently batting against Nepal.
