Meteorologist Govinda Jha stated that the maximum temperature has also been rising for the past few days. While the maximum temperature ranged between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius on Monday, it is expected to be between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

"There is no active weather system at the moment. The sun has been shining well, which has caused the maximum temperature to increase slightly," said meteorologist Jha.

He also mentioned that not only in Kathmandu but in the eastern hilly regions as well, the temperature has been rising.

"It hasn’t increased in the western regions. In the Terai areas, fog and mist are persisting, preventing the temperature from rising. However, the temperature has increased in the mid and eastern hilly regions," he added.

A new weather system is expected to enter on Wednesday evening. It may cause light rain in the hilly regions and snowfall in the higher hills and mountainous areas, which could lower the temperature.

"The system's impact might last until tomorrow, and the weather is expected to clear up again from the day after tomorrow," meteorologist Jha added.
