KATHMANDU, Jan 21: A wave of growing discontent can be seen among the party workers after the CPN-UML expelled former Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal from the party. Following Rawal’s expulsion, a large number of leaders and activists across the country have started leaving the party, which has dealt a significant blow to the party in Sudurpaschim Province.

By leading the Matribhumi Jagaran Abhiyaan, Rawal is building an organization. In his home district of Achham, thousands have left the CPN-UML, which includes 1,086 local leaders and activists. All of them have declared their support for Rawal’s campaign.
