KATHMANDU, Aug 19: The government has promoted Joint Secretary Kamal Prasad Bhattarai to the position of secretary, gazetted special class.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel announced the decision while making public the Cabinet decisions.
Along with his promotion, Bhattarai has been appointed chief secretary of Bagmati Province.
Four promoted to Secretary
Bhattarai will now lead the provincial government’s administration as Bagmati’s chief administrative officer.
