BAGMATI, Oct 29: Chief Attorney of Bagmati Province, Om Prakash Thapaliya has resigned from his post. He tendered his resignation to the Bagmati Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma.

Thapaliya who was appointed to the post by the CPN (UML)-led government resigned after the appointment of a new Chief Minister in the province. He resigned a couple of days after UML leader Ashta Laxmi Shakya resigned from the post of chief minister of Bagmati Province on Wednesday.
