KATHMANDU, May 22: The home ministry has urged one and all to help in investigating a video clip related to violence against women which has been circulated on social media lately. A probe committee was formed and the government is committed to investigate and take action against those involved in the matter, according to a statement issued by the ministry on Saturday.

The decision comes in the wake of a storm caused by a video exposing the sexual assault incidents shared by a young girl on social media.

In the video, the girl says that she was first sexually assaulted and abused by the organizer of a beauty pageant in 2014 when she was barely 16 years old.
