KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has welcomed former party president Sher Bahadur Deuba back to Nepal and wished him good health.
Opening the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting at the party’s Sanepa office on Thursday, Thapa welcomed Deuba, who returned to Nepal earlier in the day after travelling abroad for medical treatment.

“Welcome to Nepal to former president Sher Bahadur Deuba. I wish him good health,” Thapa said at the start of the meeting.
The Central Working Committee meeting has been underway at the party office in Sanepa since Sunday.
The meeting was scheduled for 12:30 pm Thursday, coinciding with Deuba’s arrival in Nepal. After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, Deuba went directly to his residence.
