KATHMANDU, Aug. 3: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) arrested Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Pushpa Raj Bhattarai from Kageshwari Manohara Municipality on Monday.

According to the CIB, Bhattarai was arrested over allegations related to the Passport Act.
Police are preparing to present him before the Kathmandu Court to seek permission to detain him for further investigation.
