Current session of Federal Parliament prorogued from October 2 midnight

President Ramchandra Paudel has, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, prorogued the current session of both houses of the Federal Parliament effective from 12 midnight of October 2.

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: President Ramchandra Paudel has, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, prorogued the current session of both houses of the Federal Parliament effective from 12 midnight of October 2.



The President has prorogued the current session of both houses of the Federal Parliament in accordance with Article 93, Sub-Article 2 of the Constitution of Nepal and on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on September 29, it is stated in a communiqué issued today by Spokesperson at the Office of the President, Krishna Bahadur Shahi.
