DANG, March 24: A fire engulfed Shangri-La Plywood Factory in Khaira, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-9, around 2 am last night and continues to rage uncontrolled.
Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Lamsal said authorities deployed fire trucks, water tankers, and personnel from the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force from across the district to douse the flames.

As the fire spread near a residential area, officials evacuated residents to safeguard the community, Lamsal added. Authorities also called in fire engines from Banke and Rupandehi districts. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
