KATHMANDU, Aug 14: Club Officers conducted a training program for toastmasters in Kathmandu on Saturday and in Lalitpur the latter day.
Issuing a statement on Monday, the club said, eight Toastmasters Clubs of Nepal participated in the Club Officers Training Program (COTP).

The Toastmasters Clubs in Nepal are a part of 15,900 Toastmasters Clubs that are spread across 142 countries. “These clubs have a single point agenda of developing public speaking and leadership skills of its members,” the statement read. “Pallav Verma, district director, trained the officers of all Toastmasters Clubs in Nepal. He was supported by senior Toastmasters and Area Directors Suman Shakya and Ranjit Acharya.”
According to the statement, the objective of the training was to facilitate the executive committee members of clubs regarding proper duties of the officers, smooth functioning of the clubs and other benchmark practices.
The program also focused on various aspects of running a Toastmasters Club, conducting events and successfully fulfilling respective officer duties, the statement further added.
