19 goats and sheep killed in Chitwan truck accident

According to police, the vehicle was carrying more than 100 goats and sheep from Bardiya to Kathmandu when it lost control and overturned at Lewatar in Ichchakamana-4, Chitwan, along the Prithvi Highway at around 6:30 am.

CHITWAN, Feb 9: A mini-truck transporting goats and sheep met with an accident in Chitwan district early this morning, resulting in the death of at least 19 animals. 


According to police, the vehicle was carrying more than 100 goats and sheep from Bardiya to Kathmandu when it lost control and overturned at Lewatar in Ichchakamana-4, Chitwan, along the Prithvi Highway at around 6:30 am.

Police Inspector Nirala Bhandari of the Area Police Office, Muglin, confirmed that the mini-truck (Bhe1Ka 2362) veered off course, leading to the accident.
