KATHMANDU, Dec 7: The effects of cyclone 'Michaung', which began in India, is expected to persist in Nepal for the next three days, according to meteorologists. Its impact has now reached Nepal's capital city Kathmandu.

As the cyclone weakened, it created a low-pressure area that brought cooler weather to the capital since Thursday. People awaiting sunny skies are experiencing a chilly atmosphere wrapped in foggy clouds.

The country, including the capital, is experiencing changes in weather due to the cyclone's partial influence from Chhattisgarh. Meteorologist Ganga Nagarkoti said that the temperature has dipped and westerly wind is blowing in parts of Nepal as a result of this.
