Chand-led outfit seizes Kadayat's land and house in Tikapur

TIKAPUR, July 27: The cadres of the outlawed outfit led by Netra Bikram Chand on Saturday took under control the land and house belonging to one person located in Tikapur Municipality-1 in Tikapur.

TIKAPUR, July 27: The cadres of the outlawed outfit led by Netra Bikram Chand on Saturday took under control the land and house belonging to one person located in Tikapur Municipality-1 in Tikapur.


They are members of the Chand-led party’s organization under Tharuwan Autonomous Province. They have seized control of the land and house of Rekha Kadayat accusing her of evading tax and running away after collecting money from different lenders by promising them to give it back to them with accrued high interest.

DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta who is the chief of Area Police Office in Tikapur informed that nothing was found at the house reported to have been seized by the Chand-led party cadres who reportedly hoisted their party flag on it.


“We sent a team of police personnel to the incident place. They found nothing in the house,” Bhatta told Republica Online.


They will seize her house and land until she gives money she collected back to the lenders, according to the press statement issued by Bimarsha, Chief of People’s Council, part of Chand-led outlawed party.


Kadayat had been running a beauty parlor before she ran way . It has been about one year since she fled Tikapur, locals say.
