KATHMANDU, April 27: The Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers and Procedures) Bill, 2079 was tabled in the National Assembly (NA) on Sunday along with the message received from the House of Representatives (HoR). NA Secretary Dr Surendra Aryal tabled the Bill at the NA.
During the NA meeting, Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal read out different letters received from the Office of the President.
Likewise, NA Chairman Dahal shared the message on the division of the ministerial portfolios received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
‘Bill to amend some Nepal Acts’ tabled in National Assembly
The NA meeting on Sunday also passed a condolence motion on the demise of Constituent Assembly (CA) Member and former HoR Member Tirtharam Dangol and former HoR Member Kamal Koirala.
Tourism Bill, 2081 was also tabled during the meeting. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya tabled the bill on behalf of the Minister for Tourism, Badri Prasad Pandey.
The next meeting of the NA is summoned for May 2.
