KATHMANDU, May 31: The CPN-UML is set to hold a national workshop in Kathmandu on June 3 and 4, focusing on membership renewal and organizational orientation.
The decision was made at a meeting of the party’s Central Organization Department held on Saturday at the party headquarters in Chyasal, under the chairmanship of General Secretary Shankar Pokharel.

The workshop will bring together a wide range of party functionaries, including provincial and district in-charges, provincial office bearers and secretaries, heads of provincial organization departments, district chairpersons, district organization department heads, as well as central in-charges and leaders of sister organizations, along with their organizational secretaries and department heads, according to UML Organization Department Chief and Secretary Bhanubhakta Dhakal.
Dhakal said the UML is preparing to fully digitize its party membership system.
He added that the workshop aims to make membership renewal, record-keeping, and overall management more efficient and technology-friendly.
