School Theater Nepal, organizes international drama festival in Nepal annually. It has successfully completed third edition of international drama festival and has brought more than 100 children from 15 different countries.
According to a press statement released by School Theatre Nepal, in collaboration with Asian Academy for Peace, Research and Development, it is going to organize ‘National School Theatre Festival’ scheduled from November 27 to November 29.
Theaters back into operation
To participate in the drama festival, those who are interested for it should follow certain criteria such as a group of 10 people including eight students, with equal ratio of male to female and two teachers who can direct and look after the technical part are welcomed from each province. It added that the drama should be at least 30 minutes long and maximum 60 minutes. Moreover, the topics allocated for the drama are peace, non-violence and social harmony.
The content of the drama, title, the cover photo, video and name of the participants is supposed to be submitted by the end of October at the email address: schooltheatrenepal@gmail.com, artisttanka@gmail.com.
A sum of Rs25, 000 has been allocated by the organizers for the stay of participants from outside the valley, while the materials apart from the technical equipments are supposed to be managed by participant schools as per the press statement.
