KATHMANDU: The government has decreased the budget for the sports sector by Rs 1.63 billion for the next fiscal year.

In the annual budget for fiscal year 2020/2021, the government has allocated a total budget of Rs 2.36 billion for the next fiscal year.
In the last fiscal year, the government had allocated a total of Rs 3.99 billion for sports development.
