MYAGDI, Dec 22: Two dead bodies have been found in a river in Myagdi. According to the District Police Office, Myagdi, the body of 76-year-old Mankumari Pun from Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality-7 Hilapokhari, who had been out of contact since the morning of December 19, was found in the Myagdi River.
District Police Office Information Officer Ashok Kumar Jha reported that Pun's body was located in the Myagdi River in Khorbang on Thursday afternoon. Following the loss of contact, the family, locals, and the police had been searching the river for the clothes Pun was wearing, leading to the discovery of the body.

On Thursday, the body of 31-year-old Sujan Gharti, a resident of Annapurna Rural Municipality-4, Narchang, and Ward No. 2 Bhurung Tatopani, was found in the gorge of the Kali Gandaki River.
Gharti, who had gone missing on December 18 while traveling from Bhurung Tatopani to Pokhrebgar on a motorcycle, was discovered after a joint effort by divers from the Armed Police Force, Gulm Galeshwar, Nepal Police, family, and relatives who searched the banks of the Kaligandaki River. They located Gharti's body in the gorge of the Kaligandaki River in Naunibagar, said Information Officer Jha.
