KATHMANDU, May 21: BIN International Art Camp and Exhibition Event kicked off at Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal on Sunday. The event was conceptualized especially from the artists from Bangladesh, Nepal and India to build a bridge in the fine art sector among these countries and as well as other SAARC countries.

Thirteen artists from Bangladesh, 16 from Nepal and one from India have participated in this event. The goal of this event is to conduct result oriented and fruitful activities in the fine art sector among these

countries.

“We are from the same family wherever we go because our brush is the same; the smell of the ink is the same even the smell of the paint is the same. We don’t need to learn Bangladeshi to understand their art and vice versa. Art has no language. It can go all around the world and still be understood.” said Ragini Upadhyay, chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts addressing the artists and the guests.

The exhibition consists of breathtaking paintings. From abstract paintings to paintings of god and goddess, it looks absolutely ethereal. The exhibition will continue till May 27.
