KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Myanmar's State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi and Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen have arrived in Kathmandu at the official invitation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The visiting heads of states will be in Nepal from November 29 to 30. During the visit, Suu Kyi and Hun Sen will pay a courtesy call on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and hold official talks with Oli on matters of mutual interest, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

While Suu Kyi’s Nepal visit will be the first by the state counsellor of Myanmar, Hun Sen’s visit will be the first by any Cambodian prime minister.
The two leaders will also attend ‘The Asia Pacific Summit 2018 — Nepal’ to be held in Kathmandu from November 30 to December 3.
Both the heads of states were received by Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Ishwor Pokhrel. On the occasion, a contingent of Nepal Army offered a guard of honor to Suu Kyi as wekk as Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen.
VVIPs including the head of states and governments of seven nations and delegates from the government of 45 nations will start arriving in Nepal from November 29 to attend the summit.
