The Future Of Telehealth And AI In Business

The Future Of Telehealth And AI In Business

- by Dr. Shreeja Shikhrakar and Saroj Wagle

First and foremost, let us understand the meaning of “telehealth.” The word ‘tele’ means “distance” and ‘health’ means “to heal”. Another synonym of telemedicine by Time Magazine as “healing by wire”. Telemedicine also refers to the practice of medicine at a distance whereby information technology is used to ensure the delivery of medical care services. By using mobile phones, laptops, and computers, healthcare providers and doctors can communicate with their patients virtually and write prescriptions or follow-ups. But, at the same time, with the rise of innovative technologies and the use of AI in healthcare — healthcare businesses have taken a different shape, from traditional styles to telehealth.

Rising threats of climate change in the Hindu Kush Himalayas

- by Pratik Bhattarai

Climate change is affecting every inhabited region across the globe. There has been rapid warming of the climate as a result of human activity over the last 2000 years. The most vulnerable countries to the impacts of climate change are the least developed countries, like Nepal. It has become increasingly difficult for communities because of unpredictable and extreme weather events, especially those that are already vulnerable to climate stresses.

Portfolio Management

Portfolio Management

- by Saroj Wagle

Indeed, ‘portfolio management’ is all about a concept that promotes the idea of diversification. To be honest, let me tell you that the idea of managing your own investments can feel daunting, but no matter how much money you’ve, there is a level of portfolio management right for you. Simply put, however, it can be either passive or active in nature. Most tellingly, on the one hand, passive management is a set-it-and-forget-it long-term strategy that often involves simply tracking a broad market index — commonly referred to as indexing or index investing. On the other hand, active management instead involves a single manager, co-managers or a team of managers who attempt to beat the market return by actively managing a fund’s portfolio through investment decisions based on research, and decisions on individual holdings. Apart from this, the business strategy underpins successful project portfolio management. Here is what I’d like to say: strategy refers to the long-term direction as well as scope of an organization, working towards the goals of growth in the competitive landscape.
