In 1993, the first edition of the SAFF Cup, Nepal finished third. Similarly, Nepal finished fourth in the following edition. Nepal failed to go through the group stage in the third edition, which was held in Kathmandu in 1997. In 1999, Nepal finished fourth. In 2003, 2005, 2008, and 2009 Nepal were knocked out from the group stage.

Bishwo Gautam’s designs represent the mastery of work that he puts to his creations. His taste in fashion developed at an early age while growing up in Chitwan. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in fashion designing from Namuna College of Fashion Designing in 2007, he went on to establish  Bishwo’s creations the following year. Gautam then put up his first solo show in 2011, in Soaltee Crown Plaza, where he showcased a total of 10 fashion sequences.

Founder of Samata School, Uttam Sanjel got married to Kala Adhikari on Monday at the Guhyeshwari Temple, Kathmandu. Adhikari is a health assistant at Samata Hospital. The entire wedding was summed up at Rs 300, where prerequisites like sindur (vermillion power), pote (glass beads), and garland were bought for Rs 25, Rs 75, and Rs 200 respectively.

Marking the end of their summer fellowship program that started in June, Daayitwa had organized Daayitwa Nepal Public Service Fellowship Symposium 2018 at Yala Maya Kendra. As per the press release, the Nepali participants will practice their act, Heroes Don’t Come, prior to their performance. According to the police report, Nirmala, a resident of Kanchanpur, was brutally raped and eventually murdered. Several nation-wide protests are being organized demanding for justice to Nirmala.
