An event was held at Level 3, Pulchowk, marking Eco Infinity Pvt Ltd's one year of operation in Nepal; the organization introduced e-scooter, NIU, in Nepal last year. Per NIU's mission of revolutionizing urban mobility on a global scale, over 150 units are actively cruising in the streets of Nepal. Eco Infinity -- the authorized distributors of the e-scooter -- has been promoting NIU as an eco-friendly solution to the increasing pollution in Nepal.

At the beginning of my teenage, I developed an interest in electronic devices. Screwdrivers and fluke testers replaced my toys. I preferred unscrewing and screwing the electronic devices, stripping the wires with teeth, replacing the fuses, connecting two wires and taping the connection points rather than watching cartoons. These tasks, to me, were challenging, and as a curious teenager, I had no one to look up to but to explore videos to learn more.

The Buddhists believe that Pancha Daan is the biggest form of daan or donation.  Buddhists of the Newar community, mainly Shakya, Bajracharya, and Tuladhars, celebrate this festival by donating five essential food grains -- rice grains, unhusked rice grains, salt, money, and pulses -- to the Bajracharya and Shakya priests. This is an annual festival celebrated in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kirtipur, Panga, and other nearby areas.

Tham Maya Pun, a teacher at Paudar Secondary School, Myagdi, was honored with the ‘PP Prasai National Best Teacher’- 2018 award.
