UDMF cadres vandalize ambulance with patient inside

BIRATNAGAR, Nov 20: Cadres of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have vandalized an ambulance on Friday morning.

The incident occurred at Katahari area of the district when the ambulance was heading to Biratnagar from Rangeli carrying a patient for the treatment.

According to District Police Office, they vandalized the ambulance while a patient identified as a minor was inside the ambulance.

Pramod Kharel, spokesperson of Morang police, informed that the UDMF cadres smashed the windshields of  the ambulance, Ko 1 7379, belonging to Rangeli Saving and Credit Pvt Ltd.

Meanwhile, police have nabbed eight people in connection with their involvement in the vandalism and for misbehaving with a motorcyclist woman.
