ANFA approves Rs 1.56 billion budget six months into current FY

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has approved a budget of over Rs 1.56 billion for the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26.



A meeting chaired by ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang finalized the expenditure plan for the year. However, the budget was approved only after six months of the fiscal year had already passed, leaving just six months for its implementation.

ANFA’s activities had been affected due to delays in budget approval. Along with endorsing the new budget, the meeting also approved ANFA’s audit report for the fiscal year 2024/25, according to ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah.


ANFA stated that the budget will be allocated toward football development in the country, organizing competitions, and running the association’s regular programs.
