Khopiram Nepali, 50, of Ranghara of Laxmipur-1 in Dang died after he was struck by lightning while he was busy in collecting mangoes brought down by a storm near his house garden. His spouse Parbati Nepali and daughter Dalli have been injured in the incident, said a local Man Bahadur Basnet.
Likewise, Ram Briksha Singh, 65, of Laxminiya-3 in Mahottari died after he was struck by lightning while he was at his home this morning, Police Inspector Macchindra Babu KC of Area Police Office Gaushala said.
Ram Sundar Mahato, 70, who was sitting with KC during the incident has been critically injured and is being treated at a local hospital. RSS
