Oli likely to win two-thirds majority in vote of confidence
He also referred to discussions held during a joint meeting of the President, the Prime Minister, and former prime ministers, saying the UML had made it clear that the party has not opposed to elections and does not support any form of regression.
Oli added that there was consensus on the need for the swift restoration of the House of Representatives, noting that the matter is currently before the court and will proceed in line with its verdict.
While the Prime Minister and the President have spoken in favor of holding elections, Oli questioned whether the necessary environment exists in the country.
