Tinker police post shifted to lower belt

BHIMDUTTANAGAR, Nov 20: With the dip in temperature due to snowfall, the Tinker Police Post located at the upper reaches of Darchula district has been shifted to Sitapul Police Post, lower belt, said the District Police Office.

A total of 12 police personnel were serving in Tinker Police Post.Now, police personnel working in two posts have started to work jointly. The DPO chief DSP Sushil Singh Rathor said that the police post is always shifted to lowland belt in the winter season soon after the snowfall in upper belt.

Similarly, 150 households at the Tinker and Chharung villages of Vyas VDC in the district have shifted to the district headquarters, Khalanga to escape the harsh winter. RSS
