Those applied so far include Alternative Herbal Products, the Nepal Beekeeping Central Cooperative Union, and visually impaired initiative and Inclusion Empowerment Centre. “It is the only expo of its kind,” said Anupama Shakya, program co-ordinator of ChangeFusion Nepal.
She said its main objective is to showcase entrepreneurs from different sectors and regions, enabling them to highlight their goodwill projects and network with others.
Successful applicants will exhibit for one day on either October 5, 6 or 7 at the Baber Mahal Revisited Courtyard for a cost of Rs 1,000.
The bazaar heralds the start of Surya Nepal Asha´s Social Entrepreneurship Award for 2012, with seminars held in November before the prize-giving ceremony in December.
