ISLAMABAD, March 6: Pakistan says it will send a three-member delegation to India to assess security before allowing its national team to compete in the cricket World Twenty20 tournament.

Interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan says the delegation will leave for India on Monday and examine hotels, road routes and cricket grounds. If the report is positive, Pakistan's team will go to India on Wednesday.Pakistan expressed concern after reported comments this week by the head of Himachal Pradesh state that he could not provide security for the Pakistan team, and that its high-profile match against India on March 19 should be moved to another state.
