The deceased has een identified as 42-year-old Tilai Paswan of Bhawanipur VDC-6. An ambulance heading towards Dharan had knocked down Paswan at 9 p.m. on Thursday, killing him instantaneously.[break]
The ambulance driver who sped off after the accident was arrested at Bhardaha in Saptari district.
