KATHMANDU, Jan 19: United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) said that the dramatic changes in major three political parties’ stance have delayed them to strike deal to end current crisis.

Speaking at a press meet at Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) party office, UDMF talks members also said that it is not relevant to talk with the taskforce anymore.

"There will only be talks with senior leaders of the major three parties. The unity among the major three parties despite differences is to prevent from addressing UDMF demands," TMDP Vice-Chairman Hridayesh Tripathi said.

"There will be no taskforce-level talks only with the senior leaders," he added. However, he didn't divulge on details of talks with senior leaders.

He also accused the parties of not addressing their two-province demands in Tarai region.

Earlier, the major three political parties had agreed to address the UMDF demands through high level political mechanism.
