KATHMANDU, Jan 18: At least five people including a child were killed when a bus returning from an educational tour from Bhedetar of Dhankuta crashed in Dharan Metropolitan City-13 on Sunday.
The school bus, bearing registration number Ko 1 Kha 7119, crashed near Zero Point after the bus reportedly lost its control, according to Sunsari District Police Chief SP Keshab Thebe.

“A school bus ferrying adults on an educational tour suddenly lost its control and hit a house on the side ways,” SP Thebe said. “The bus was however not ferrying students and only adults and a few children were in the bus,” he added.
Of those deceased four are adults and one child. Twelve other injured persons are undergoing treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
Police said they are yet confirmed the exact reason behind the accident.
