KATHMANDU, April 30: Nepal Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed unhappiness over the working style of the Province 2 government.
Dahal made the remark at a function held at his Khumaltar-based residence on Tuesday.
“The Province 2 government has failed to live up to the expectations of the people. Only the Communist governments can work for the well-being of the people in the province,” Dahal said. He said that a new government could be a prospect in the province.

“If the provincial government does not listen to people and continues to work in the same manner, we would be forced to go for the government change. The new government could be formed anytime if we really want to do so,” Dahal said.
Dahal said that the corruption is thriving in Province 2 after the new provincial government came to power. “We assured that we would extend all support to the provincial government in the past. But, things did not go as expected. Sadly, the corruption is thriving in the province since the provincial government came to the power,” he said.
Madhes-based Federal Socialist Forum (FSP) and Rashtriya Janata Party have been running a coalition government in the Province 2. Lal Babu Raut, a leader of the FSP, is currently the chief minister of the province.
