KATHMANDU, March 8: National Institute for International Education (NIIED)under the Ministry of Education of Republic of Korea has invited Nepalese students for "2016 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS)" program. GKS is the Korean Government's Scholarship program for international students for the graduate degree.

A press statement issued by the Korean embassy in Nepal said that 45 Nepalese students have already take advantage of the opportunity to pursue higher education in Korea.
"The embassy plans to recommend three qualified candidates to NIIED, which will make the final choice of the students," reads the statement.
