KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Siddhartha Bank Ltd (SBL) has elected Manoj Kumar Kedia as it chairman. Issuing a statement, the bank said the 239th board meeting of the bank held on Tuesday unanimously elected Kedia to the post.

Earlier on Monday, the bank's 14th annual general meeting had elected Manoj Kumar Kedia, Narendra Kumar Agrawal, Ratan Lal Kedia, Birendra Kumar Shah and Tushar Todi as the directors of the bank from promoter shareholders for a four-year term.
Similarly, the AGM also approved 20 percent bonus shares and 1.05 percent cash dividend (for tax purpose) to its shareholders, according to the statement.
