The world is divided into two – people who believe that love at first sight is possible and others who believe that it is as real as unicorns.[break]
Bijay Prakash Mainali says, “Love at first sight is nothing but a crush. It may gradually turn into a love affair.”
The inevitable question is how can you fall in love with just the sight of him/her? Looks are not all that make a person. So what makes the heart grow fonder and knees go weak without having a slightest idea about the kind of person he/ she is?
“Attraction at first may turn into love if both understand and accept each other for who they are. This is often termed as ‘love at first sight,’” shared Sachin Tripathi on Facebook, “And then there is another love, love of parents for their children and vice versa which has nothing to do with sight.”
We have read so many love stories that start with the first sight, so many songs that talk about the same and films based on this idea that we find corny and right out of a fairytale – which is to say, not possible in real life. Perhaps it is only for the ones who have experienced it to understand, and the rest of the world is missing out a lot.
