KATHMANDU, July 25: The country is currently experiencing light to moderate rain including lightning in some places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and a few places in the remaining provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Partly cloudy skies will prevail across the country this afternoon. Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and some places of Sudurpaschim Province and few places of rest of the region are likely to receive light to moderate rain with thunder. There is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in one or two places of Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Heavy rainfall forecast in Bagmati, several provinces
Tonight there will be a general change in weather across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning at a few places in the hilly areas of all the provinces and one or two places in the remaining areas. There is also a possibility of heavy rain with lightning at one or two places in Koshi, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
