The four-day event is being organized by Floriculture Association of Nepal (FAN) at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall.
Speaking at a press meet, officials of FAN said the event will be inaugurated by Minister for Agricultural Development Haribol Gajurel.According to the organizers, the exhibition will have 64 stalls -- six official stalls, three for floriculture contest, four for landscape purpose and remaining 51 for business purpose. The expo will showcases different seasonal flowers, decoration flowers, cut flowers and drip flowers as well as seeds, tools, and books as well materials regarding gardening.
Similarly, the organizers are awarding participants in 10 different categories -- best seasonal flower, best decoration, best flower, best landscape, best flower decoration, best stall, best cut flower (rose), best cut flower (carnesan), best cut flower (jarbera) and best cut flower (galsuolas).
"The expo will be fruitful to those who love gardening," the organizers said in a press statement.
The event is expected to draw 50,000 visitors, according to the organizers.
