Shantidevi Pandit, 60, of Chireshwor Municipality-7 was hit by a motorcycle, Ja 2 Pa 4479, when she was crossing the road, according to Area Police Office, Mahendranagar.
Rushed to Janaki Medical Teaching College after the accident, Pandit breathed her last during the treatment, Police Inspector Harihar Dhakal said.
Police have impounded the motorcycle under their control while the motorcyclist fled the scene following the incident, police said. RSS
