KATHMANDU, Jan 20: The CPN (UML) has chosen Ishwar Pokhrel as its candidate for Kathmandu Constituency No. 5.
UML Kathmandu chair Deepak Niraula informed that the party made this decision ON Monday.
Raghuji Pant to contest for vice-chairperson
Pokhael has previously contested from this constituency in the last House of Representatives elections and the Constituent Assembly.
Chair Niraula stated that all contestants have been confirmed, except for Kathmandu Constituency No. 4. The finalized candidates include: Mohan Regmi for Constituency-1, Maniram Phuyal for Constituency-2, Rameshwar Phuyal for Constituency-3, Amanman Maske for Constituency-6, Prakash Shrestha for Constituency-7, Raju Shakya for Constituency-8, Ajaykranti Shakya for Constituency-9, and Binod Shrestha for Constituency-10.
