Rajesh Khadka, 17, and Rita Tamang, 18, of Simpani VDC-8, Khotang have been accused of dumping the child in the jungle born through their ‘illegitimate relationship’, ASI Parbat Rayamajhi said.
Tamang delivered the child in the jungle on Sunday and returned home alone.
The child was later found by Tamang’s maternal uncle and handed it over to police.
