Carlsberg unveils EURO 2016 campaign

KATHMANDU, March 1: With 100 days to go before the start of the UEFA EURO 2016 Championship, Carlsberg, the official beer for the tournament unveiled its campaign delivering on the promise to “Live it LIVE!” - an opportunity for Nepali fans to watch the showpiece live in France.

Every fan wants to be at the UEFA EURO 2016, states a press statement released by Carlsberg on Tuesday. Moreover, every fan wants to be a part of this extraordinary journey. Carlsberg is making this ultimate dream come true via a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Nepali football fans to win a VIP hospitality package to watch the UEFA EURO 2016 Italy vs Sweden LIVE in France and also present “Carlsberg Man of the Match Award,” the statement further reads. A lucky winner will also get a chance to take along one of his/her friends to watch the match ‘LIVE’ in France.


For the first time in the tournament’s history, UEFA EURO 2016 will feature 24 teams compared to only 16 in 2012, according to the statement. They will be competing over a full month, from June 10 to July 10. The tournament comprises 51 matches, up from 31 matches in 2012, staged in ten different cities across France.
