KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Shoes Palace, a shoe store that claims to sell shoes of all types, has opened its showroom at Chuchepati, Chabahil. According to a press statement issued by the company, the store is a one stop destination for all kinds of shoes, including party, formal, business, official school, college, sports or sandals. The store has shoes of all kinds from basic to premium class of domestic as well as international brands.



It has a wide collection of shoes for babies, men and women of all age groups. On the occasion of its opening, the store is providing special discounts and privilege card to customers for the first 5 days. [break]In addition to that, the store is providing special Teej gifts to women who buy shoes at the store. The store aims to have a presence in all the major cities of the country within five years.



Yamaha launches Dashain-Tihar scheme

: MAW Enterprises, the sole authorized distributor of Yamaha bikes in Nepal, has launched a scheme ´Yamaha Dashain Tihar Aayo-Khusi Lyayo´ for the upcoming festive seasons of Dashain and Tihar. According to a press statement issued by the company, Yamaha would be offering Rs 10,000 discount on the purchase of every bike. The scheme will apply both for cash payments as well as purchase under finance schemes, said the statement. The offer would be effective from Sunday. Yamaha is confident that the scheme will bring happiness to its customers as every individual will get the discount, unlike other schemes in which prizes are distributed through lucky draw.



Nabil Investment new DP



KATHMANDU
: CDS and Clearing Ltd, which is responsible for operating the Central Depository System (CDS) -- the online share trading in stock market -- has permitted Nabil Investment Banking Ltd to operate as a depository participant DP. Issuing a statement on Saturday, CDS and Clearing Ltd said the board meeting of the company held on Friday took the decision after inspecting the infrastructure of Nabil Investment and Banking Ltd. Chief Executive Officer of the company Subodh Sharma Sigdel and Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Investment Banking Prabin Raman Parajuli have signed a deal to this effect. With Nabil Investment Banking Ltd acquiring the permission, the total number of DP has reached four. Meanwhile, Everest Bank has signed an agreement to dematerialize its shares for CDS. CDS and Clearing Ltd has also asked Bank of Kathmandu, Citizen Investment Trust, Shikhar Insurance, Himalayan Bank, Shiddhartha Bank, Royal Marchant Bank and Finance to dematerialize their shares.
