Big 3 decide to forge accord with UDMF within Monday

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Major three political parties on Thursday decided to forge an agreement with the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) within Monday.

A meeting of top leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist) held at Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar discussed the report of taskforce formed for holding talks with the front and decided to forge common stance within Sunday, according to UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s personal secretariat.

Meeting of the parliament has been slated for Monday, January 18. If an accord is reached with front, the parliament meeting will endorse the constitution amendment bill in coming sitting.
