Bangladesh wins toss, elects to bat vs India

FATULLAH, Bangladesh, June 18: Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat first in the first one-day international against India on Thursday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.




Litton Das made his one-day debut following the impressive performance on his maiden test against India. He took the place of injured Mahmudullah who was the integral part of team in the recent time.

Bangladesh also handed a debut to left-arm fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman. With his inclusion, Bangladesh went with a four-man pace attack.



India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said they are happy to chase because of the rain forecast.



India has left out Axar Paten, Ambati Rayudu, Dhawal Kulkarni and Stuart Binny.
